Hard neck. Zone 4. Noticed some sprouting that I missed last year. 5-6” hi. When I dig I see they are last year’s bulb splitting apart. Can these be re planted for a “normal “ bulb later this year? btw does bonemeal help? Thanks

Yes, they can be transplanted as individual plants very nicely. Sooner is better than later, just did some this week. Don't know about bone or blood meal, all I do is till in a little of what I clean out of the sheep barn in the fall and with just a little sulfur.

Found a few I missed last year. Just split them and replanted with the ones I planted last fall. Got it all weeded. Added mushroom soil and straw to it the other day.[Linked Image]

Just now got in from replanting some I missed last year or maybe came up from seed just separated them and replanted. Never tried blood meal and don't have advice on that I guess try it and see or get on the internet and do a search.

Gypsum is good for garlic. They need both calcium and sulfur in good quantity.
