Calvin trapper C Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 5,958 South metro, MN	Your WI beaver will be bought per the pound under the hatter market, I assume. I sold 28 (dried) a couple weeks ago for alittle over a $10 average. Most were last spring beaver and a fair amount were smaller sized.

beaverpeeler trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 11,187 Oregon	I have noticed that there is some interest in the western association sales for XL and above #1's and good 2's moving in the low to mid 20's. Not much interest in smaller or damage goods. Some of these craft buyers night get all they need with 30 to 40 pelts and then they're done. My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

Just sold 21 carcass beaver for just over a 15 dollar average. All but 5 were caught right in front of my house in 3 sets one of them being a float. Caught 3 of them just this morning. They are on the move right now. Fun to watch them work the sets and to see one actually get caught. I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!
