Turkish company, seems to be in line with Winchester, Remington,etc.. Not top of the line, but good functional affordable guns. Bought my 12 year old one of their semi auto 20 gauge last fall, it was literally the only available 20 gauge pump or semi auto. Its a nice little gun.

My brother had an O/U. Took it to SD pheasant hunting and had nothing but FTF's on the bottom barrel. Sent it in. Took it to SD the following year and had nothing but FTF's on the bottom barrel.
I've never seen my brother so mad. I will say, my brother was also putting a lot of rounds through it shooting trap...more than your average guy would. Was it a Browning Citori ? Not unusual to see that problem with that particular gun No...it was a Tristar.

Shooting reloads with Cheddite primers ??
He shot a lot of reloads, but didn't have problems until he shot various factory loads for pheasant in SD. But, when this happened, no loads would fire from the lower barrel. Then, after sending it in, he took it back to SD the next year and had the exact same problem. I've never seen him so mad in my entire life. This is my only experience w/ Tristar, so take it FWIW.

What gauge and how much was it at Walmart? It was a 12 gauge and he bought it at his gun club.

You can buy a used Browning for about the same price as the Tri Star Only if you can find one.
