I have a stream going through my land that I bought this winter. So far I have taken 10 beavers out of it. I have put 3 holes in the main dam, removed the huge feed bed from the past 2 years and removed the 3 smaller dams on the creek. In the last 2 weeks, I have dropped the water 2 feet. My question is, at what point do you stop running traps and can feel confident you got rid of the colony?

You'll get travelers at least into May. Any of them could set up on your creek.

If it's a good creek, and it sounds like it is, you're going to be fighting the beavers every year...more than likely.

If they have good habitat(good feed) there will be beavers.
Once they deplete the feed you wont see any back there for years.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
