Not the waterboy’s foosball. Im talking quarters stacked at one end of the table with a small crowd gathered in a bar around the Tornado coin op waiting their turn. Im definitely out of practice, never did have a good 5 bar. Usually played front. Had moments where my snake was tough to counter but mostly just a no frills hard pull was my money and still would be if i was at the table tonight. Everyone knew it was comin, just boiled down to who was faster. Fake the pull and give it the no look slap in if the goalie was jumpin on ya. Man i remember a lot of busch lites and late nights in college and a little after. Hard to find a table anymore.

My misspent youth was split between foosball and pool on a 6 1/2' table in a crowded bar. I could hold my own at both. Usually played partners and I was on defense. A lot of goals could be scored from the defensive end of the table.

I play quite a bit. Wisconsin State was just a month ago. Not much for selfies, I'm on the right. The guy in the middle is the #1 player in the world.
South dakota has been having some tournaments lately in Souix falls. Saw Nathan Winter at Wisconsin State too, he's from out your way if you know of him. Nathan is a pro master as well.

Learned from a guy from Thailand played in many turnements won lots of drinks and money.
Snapped a few “men” off at the waist. Pull shot was so fast the ball often went through the table and popped out the opposite goal. Played a turny in Phoenix against two guys ranked 6th on the circuit my partner and I eliminated them in the simi final took 2nd place overall.

Haha youre talking way outa my league. I was small town bar good. Ive played against a couple pros before (not sure exact rank). On the rare occasion i stumbled across the ball on my 3 bar, i managed to score a couple. Overall it did not go well at all for me! Ball control seems to be the thing that separates good from ok. I never got there.

I've got a foosball table in the shop for the kids but I'm not any good at it. I much prefer pool but I don't have room for a pool table.

Played enough to think I was good, and then you’d run into some of those that were Really good. Great game.

Great game..played it late 70’s early 80’s ...I didn’t have that pull and snap shot...the hand is quicker than the eye.

I always liked air hockey better.

I used to be king of the air hockey table. Walk into a bar, lay down one quarter, and play all night.

One time we were in a KOA Campground someplace in Wyoming. Walked near the office/recreation hall and I heard the unmistakable sound of air hockey being played. Stepped in to see a bunch of young bucks watching their Champion beating everyone who took him on. Stayed quiet, laid down my quarter, and when it came my turn to play their Champion, I waxed him big time. Set the hammer down, tipped my hat, and said "Thanks, boys!" and walked off into the sunset, feeling like a gunslinger of old.
