Which Friday?

I’m sure most probably know this so this is for those that don’t.
Just because the label says “sugar free” doesn’t mean you can eat all you want. I’m sorta watching my eating and was craving ice cream. Well I found this ice cream that was labeled “sugar free” and thought problem solved. It was actually good ice cream and I figured if it’s sugar free then two bowls won’t matter. It probably wouldn’t have mattered, but after bowl four I decided, what the heck...so I ate it all.
Well about 0130 I woke up with this terrible stomach pain. I mean it felt like someone had set a M40 off in my belly. I rush to the bathroom and believe I passed so much gas that I could’ve filled up a blowup mattress. Between liquid and air about 8 more times before the 0530 alarm, I thought it was over. No such luck! Stopped twice while checking traps and then once back home. Barely made it to the bathroom at work.
Now mind you, I’m thinking my wife had poisoned me and I finally got the courage to ask her. She of course denied it and we started going over what I had eaten the night before. All was good until I mentioned the ice cream and told her that didn’t matter because it was sugar free. That’s when I learned the lesson of sugar free means a total bowel cleansing. She laughed for days about that and I learned a valuable lesson...sorta. It’s not just ice cream...anything sugar free in excess will cause those symptoms.
