Boco, one coyote doesn't tell you much on what they did. Saskfly said his coyotes averaged $30. But didn't say how many or grades.

Yes it does-it tells you what grading at the auction house means compared to 3 piles on a van floor.

In a court of law that would be considered Hearsay and wouldn't be admissible. LOL

Eventually they will post a sold catalog. Might be a couple of weeks. Right now they have more important things to think about - invoicing buyers so they can get paid. And shipping goods.

The sold catalogs from the past 8 or so years are already posted. If any one wants to check out past sales.

I had 1 eastern coyote graded 3x-2x select hvy A-B 1, sold for $93. I doubt Groney would have paid anywhere near that for it ?
Sold 2 others, 3x-2x SLT HVY-SEMI C-D for $28, and 3x-2x 1 semi C-D $30.

Mine are eastern junk.........not what the OP is looking for.

From FHA website
"Heavy western coyotes sold 100% at an average price of $98.52 USD (approx $120 CDN) with a top price of $148 USD ($180CDN) on day 2 of FHA’s April auction."

Do you think $98.52 is the average of every heavy western coyote they had? Or is that #1's? I am looking for a trapper lot price, not one coyote 50-100 of them that one person shipped.

My western heavies averaged $99.75, after drumming and commission, $88.57. I'm quite pleased with the results.

So going from heavy to semi heavy and clear color to average minus color costs one abut $70 on the same size coyote. That shows me that even the coyote market is getting even more elite only , like coons, cats and looks like rats are going that too. At least the beaver have a bottom, the felt for the $200 Stetson gets mixed up pretty well.

now remember that he quoted his sales before on a different thread, and that he kept out his cherry picked ones and....and...sent in the one that was no sale from the buyer...and....FHA it still is a junk fur

Marty, 14 out of 51 graded heavy, the overall average (50/51) was $72.28 before commission. I was very surprised how well they sold, and hope it holds for the next auction.
