I have heard of it. Easier said then done though.

I was at the table to help draft the original bill. That 90% number was a sound bite from our one wolf lover senator.

Why set your goal so low?

A friend sent a link to that story to me. I knew it was suspicious as soon as i seen it was from ABC fake news. Perhaps still a good excuse to buy a long range rifle.

Sounds like using an emotional rather than fact based statement the liberals usually get involved with.

It will wind up dragging through the court system.

Looks good to me. Makes it easier to control the population down to at least what the original was supposed to be before the huggers got their way and the killing machines got completely out of control.
Time to get shooters from helicopters in the Frank Church to give the big game a break.

Thanks Jumper !

Looks like some things in there I wouldn't support.

If I read it correctly, it essentially removes management from the Commission and hands it to the legislature. NOT a good thing IMO.

It potentially puts people trapping wolves in the summer ( why? ) into areas of conflict with grizzlies..........especially if you are using a large bait type of attractant. Could be a dangerous situation.

It also sounds like a person could trap wolves all summer on private property OR leased property. Does that mean, for instance, a grazing lease on BLM land ?

To me, it reads as an under the table attempt to largely eliminate wolves with little or no professional management (legislature making seasons etc)
