The new census looks favorable for gun rights in the next election cycle.:
Gregory Korte and Mark Niquette Mon, April 26, 2021, 3:00 PM (Bloomberg) -- Texas will gain the most new seats in the U.S. House of Representatives under new Census numbers released Monday, while states in the Northeast and Midwest lose seven in a shift of political clout to Republican strongholds before the 2022 midterms.
New York would have kept all 27 seats in the U.S. House if the Census Bureau had counted 89 more people in the state, all other things being equal. Instead, it lost one, Census officials said.
The bureau released its decennial count of state populations Monday, reshuffling the 435 House seats among the 50 states to account for population changes over the last decade.
Those changes alone could be enough to decide the balance of power: Democrats hold a narrow advantage in the House now, with a margin of fewer than half a dozen seats.
The states gaining seats are largely ones that former President Donald Trump won in 2020, while states President Joe Biden won -- including the so-called “Blue Wall” states of the industrial North -- are losers.
Texas will gain two seats. Colorado, Florida, Montana, North Carolina and Oregon will also each gain a seat.
Because the size of the House has been capped since 1911, those new seats must come at the expense of seven states: California, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
And because the Electoral College factors in House representation, those states will lose influence in the 2024 presidential vote.
The results were a surprise, with fewer seats being redistributed than at any time since Congress refused to allow reapportionment following the 1920 census.

The problem is all the liberals are moving to red states and will vote blue even though they moved to escape the crap they voted for to begin with. They will just muddy the waters and eventual put enough illegals in those states to turn them blue. LLL

LLL True but one stop gap is that the state legislatures draw the congressional district map and in Texas and Florida the R party controls the state house.

Ya'll act like we still have honest elections, guess ya'll will figure it out in time.
One side wants to spend 2 trillion the other side wants to only spend 900 billion, i don't see that matter's anymore, country is bankrupt and idiot's still seeing who can spend the most on BS nobody wants, needs or ever see's a benefit from. Just keep running the debt up, everything will be ok.

Given enough time, New York will come up with the votes they need to retain keep all 27 of their seats in the U.S. House. How long before the states that will lose seats decide to challenge the census results??? They already have tried. I received 3 census forms, one at my residence , and one each at camps I own. My mother received 1 at here residence and one at a storage barn she owns. So we could have filled them all of them out stating there were people living at all of these places. Just like the elections, the census was fraudulent as well.
