39.99 is a steal in todays market , funny thing I had a hard time paying 34.99 just a couple years ago I was finding 20 and 30 dollar primers still
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

What store had the primers?
Providing wild fur to the industry at below the cost of production for over 50 years.
Mostly carbon neutral since 1948.

Yes, the top shelf of primers is small rifle, the one below is small pistol.

Paid $70/1000 the other day...
More than I wanted to give but better than I've seen in a while.

I would not expect the reloading component or ammo market to change from what it has been anytime soon but it may bet worse.

How do I go about trading a Bass Pro Shop or a Dick's for a Scheels? Take that deal in a heartbeat. Yeah! I got the Ba$$ Pro mother ship 30 miles away in Springfield and don't go there but once a a year or so. They're way high on prices. I go to Academy.

Ballistic Products will allow you to order 20,000 209 shotgun primers. Ched209's only. I'm not sure when the next batch is coming in, but, at least they can be reserved. Their last shipment came in the first week of April, and sold out in two hours.

Mike I paid 200$ for a thousand, in my head I thought it was 5 cents a piece, I was way off lol I kind of winced handing over $80 for a 50 count box of (Nosler) brass a few months back... $1.60 a piece seemed a tad steep. But if you take good care of it and reload it a dozen or more times that's just about the cheapest component nowadays. I started out saving back money so I could buy in bulk with one trip to the store... Not now. I buy it it piecemeal as I find it if the price is "reasonable" to me. But it does seem to be slowly getting a little better. Mike

For years I handloaded because I was poor as heck. I'm still poor, but now I'm even too poor to reload! I wish I would have stocked up on stuff 25 years ago when I had an FFL. Thank you William Jefferson Clinton for raising the price of an FFL to unaffordable levels. That was so patriotic of you.

What did slick willy bump a license to ? It was only a $100 a year when george junior took office in 2000.
