About a week back I received a call from a real, live person at Brownell's to advise me that the reloading die that I'd backordered from an order made several months ago had arrived. Yes, I still wanted it, and thank you for advising me in person.

Even better, I didn't have to pay shipping on the backordered die. Yes! Unlike its competitors, Brownell's doesn't charge shipping on backorders, when you paid postage on the original order.

They are a bit slow to get orders out the door but I have never had a bad experience with them and their shipping costs seem to be the lowest of all the big vendors.

Jimbo, you do realize that you just made it onto your guys list don't you? His administration (handlers) has the US postal service monitoring the web and jotting down info like this.

But he really doesn't want to take your guns, does he?

I'm pretty well stocked on primers, so haven't been paying attention to their availability. I've noticed they've been scarce on store shelves for the last couple of years.

He'd better not, or he'll be sadly disappointed.

Powder/primers almost non existent in Alaska urban centers. There is a store chain, well 2 stores, in Wasilla and Healy, and I got some powders from them in late dec. Likely empty now. Shelves are empty in Fairbanks.
