GRP OP trapper G Joined: Jan 2011 Posts: 531 NE Mississippi	Now that I know how to get your attention, gotta couple questions. Have a chance to puck up a few square body chevy/gmc trucks that are in pretty good shape very cheap. I want to fix them up, make em run and sound good, and drive or sell them. I am a pretty good mechanic, can fix almost anything. But I have little or no body experience. Can anyone suggest a book or some reading on body work on these trucks, say 1975-1985? Thanks guys. charles trapper C Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 10,826 Asheville, NC	You need to know how to weld. My son is doing a 72 Blazer and a 70 Chevy short bed. He farmed out the Blazer to a body / paint man. I have sand blasted parts for days. Everything gets painted or powder coated on the Blazer. DuPont paint alone is 12 grand. Three coats I think. Lot to learn.
