thought i'd see what everyones else opinons were,,,,,,,would you shell out 800 bucks for a mount like this? maybe i'm expecting a lil more,,,,too much of a perfectionist?,,,,,he just don't look quite right to me AAAAAHHHHHHHH !!!!!! My Eyes......Mt Eyes !!!! I can't un-see that thing. To paraphrase Fred Flintstone: "I don't know what the taxidermist got to mount that thing"............... "But He should have got Life" !!!!! w

Very few taxidermist or tattoo artist can do a bobcat or mountain lions face justice. Most do what I call the "pink panther face". Most taxidermist seem to be good with other species but one that can do the wildcats face is few and far between. A cross eyed or pink panther faced cat is about like a smiling coyote mount ! I agree with your assessment.

No. The head looks exactly like a housecat.
Boco couldn't catch a cold. But if he did, it would be Top Lot.

Realize bobcats are among the hardest animals for a taxidermist to get to look natural and most taxidermists struggle. The forms they use are the first step and the premium forms sell for premium $$$ and most taxidermists go for the "better" type cast versus the "best" based on price.
