A new law was recently signed into law in Montana about reporting/filing false info. Need to find it and check it out.

The guilty party has probably bragged. Offer of a small reward might bring results.

My wife just told me that there was another threat this am, Monday, at U of M Western. Might be same people trying to make it look like it wasn't against trappers.?

My wife and I attended this banquet, I can absolutely say this was the grandest time we have ever had at a Trapper function. There was a small hiccup after dinner. The local PD showed up and cleared the building approximately 7:45 pm. Everyone gathered across the street and the mood of the crowd was upbeat. Nobody was grumbling or griping other than the comments of "ridiculous to whom ever done this". All this did was put the community and interstate travelers at risk as the State Patrol, Local Sheriff and PD department as well as emergency personal responded. We were told to drop everything and exit the building, there was a bit of chill in the air so the officers potentially put themselves at risk to gather jackets and coats left in the building.

Regardless the crowd was upbeat, telling stories and wondering if the banquet would continue. When the official word came that we were shut down for the evening, there was still no complaining. The plan was made to pick back up Sunday where we had left off. A few people would have to leave as it was Mothers Day and had other plans. I filtered through the crowd asking if people would be back. One fellow stated "He would cancel Christmas to not miss out on this". The officers set a plan in motion so everyone could get their vehicles and leave in a orderly manner.

The building was to be used by a local church Sunday morning for Services and a special Mothers Day tribute. Trappers were there early in the morning to help them setup while preserving everything that had been left the night before. The services started at 10:am and the parking lot was packed, church crowd and trappers mingling. The service was wonderful, uplifting and attention was brought to the evil that had done this to the community. Every Mother in the building was given a small bouquet of flowers from the children in attendance.

All I can say is "Montana has set the Bar High" for a gathering. What other state can say they've had church services with a live band before their fundraiser auction?
Montanans rock, because the communities pull together to support and help each other.

The auction was very successful and everyone had a super time. I'm ready to do it again, and not change one thing.

Thank you to Everyone in the Dillon community, Montana, Idaho and whomever I missed for working together to make this one of the Greatest banquets ever!

The perp needs time for reflection. I suppose 5 days tied to a tree deep in the woods would afford that opportunity.
