Second time I've found a beaver lodge and heard kits grunting inside. Pretty cool. Also found a random "shelter" or maybe sasquatch hut grin out in the woods today. Would be a (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman)-poor human shelter if it rained. Also found a big friggin cedar tree.

The shelter must have been built by one of the great survivalist on YouTube , everything is bushcraft.
Kids on YouTube still wearing diapers telling us how to survive in the woods.
That is a huge cedar tree
Nice pics

LMAO at Grisseldog! The youngins who know bush craft and teach survival on YouTube are my fav contestants on Nekid & Afraid! Oh and their videos are only slightly less annoying than the Injuns (with a dot) that make videos about how to fix my 'puter

I believe those are old native american trail markers.
That's what my uncle said when we were out berry picking when I was young.
Came across a few in northern Illinois

I've heard the same thing Chukar, trail and boundary markers. There are some big trees around here like that. They run along a point coming off of the ridge almost in line.

X2 on trail markers. And pretty obvious the shelter is a ground blind, so good in fact y’all missed it.

Love those huge cedars. And Hemlocks. They are only in certain areas of the NW, on up the islands in BC . There are nothing like them. I have seen stumps that are so big, ten men couldn't lock hands and reach all the way around them. Logging has taken out many of the big ones, though protected areas remain , as well as some deep remote areas of Natl. Forest land still has them. Lots of cedars still remain all over the NW here, just a bit smaller. Love them all, plus the two types of Hemlock that also are only seen in certain areas of the NW .

Glad you can enjoy them, W.I. I sure do.

That shelter looks like a bobcat cubby to me. A couple hundred of them around here where a couple guys used to trap and left their cubbies up. One of them used to line his with black plastic, but otherwise looked about like that.
