I have 3 six gallon tanks for my boat. That's enough since I don't go anywhere.

I go through about 100 gallons of gas a week for work. No way I could store enough gas to make a difference, unless I quit working..

When I lived on a coastal island, I kept about 20 gallons of ethanol free gas for my generator. Every few months I ran it in my vehicles or boat, an refilled my cans.

Usually have a couple cans around full for 4wheeler and snowmachine, and a couple gallons of mixed saw gas. Both my gas toyotas have a spare 20 gallon slip tank in them that is usually full. My diesel only has one tank but it is 36 gallons.
I have about 50 gallons worth of gas cans for camping out, but unless I am getting ready to go for a while usually only have a couple full. Always talked about getting a couple hundred gallon tank at the house so I don't have to go to the station so often, but never got around to it.

I usually have 5 gallons of gas and a gallon of mixed. But I use on average 40 gallons of diesel a day for work. A shortage is not good but hasnt hit here yet.

I usually end up cussing an empty gas can every time I want to mow.

try no to let things go below half and keep a can of small engine gas around for yard work and such.if I didn't live less than 5 minutes from 2 stations I might keep more I have a lot of cans I used to move 30-40 gallons of off-road at a time to the heat oil tank in the basement I like to do a few runs and be full before winter , not sure the price will come down at all this year on offroad

I used to keep more cans , rotating is time consuming , I might keep a second now

Unless a generator has pedals its useless with out gas, diesel or propane. Not all gas stations have generators to run their pumps either.

I keep a few jugs full, use and refill them seasonally to keep it fresh. It's good to be prepared for the unexpected. Sure, of the grid goes down the gas station might have backup power, but if everyone in town starts running generators the stores are going to sell out fast. Will the supply trucks keep up? Also remember, no CC purchases without internet. Better have cash.

The "gas shortage" seems like more sensationalized fake news to me. In the last week I've filled both my work trucks, one of them twice. No issues, no lines. Last Saturday I filled one in north-central Pa and I was the only person getting gas. Yesterday I filled up in southeastern Pa and about half the eight pumping stations were occupied, no waiting lines.

But I guess we should all be very afraid...just in case...

Eh...wot?

I still have toilet paper I will trade for gas :-)
I unusually have enough AV-Gas for one fill on the airboat. Couple 5 gallon cans for mower or use in ATV. Other wise really don't keep any big amount around..

Seems to be enough gas around here. However, the price has gone up.

I don't care how nice the hand soap smells, you should never walk out of the restroom sniffing your fingers.

I don't.
We have 3 vehicles that we keep full so there's usually 60gal in them even if they're not completely full. We also have in the neighborhood of 5000 gal of diesel fuel for our trucks.
