I'm on my main clients 300 acre property. I'm looking at a goose pair with nine goslings less than a week old. Four years ago when I started this gig every nest and renest attempt was raided. Not so now.

Now if only my guy will give me to go ahead to deal with the geese. LOL

not long and you will have so many Geese you won't be able to hear a gobble in the morning over the honking then the sand hill cranes move in and the noise , you will never have quiet again in the morning.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Haha! We had a pair hit the main pond near the shop last year and successfully hatched and raised 4-5 goslings. The manager and owner were happy.
This year we have 4 pair hatch and raise an entire flock. The manager and owner want to know when goose season comes in, lol.
They are fun to look at in the pond, but “fertilize” everywhere when on land!!

Owners will sing a different tune when the geese start running them off when trying to fish.

I’d rather have the coons and coyotes over the geese.

I hear ya warrior. We've whittled down the coyotes so much on this place year over year I'm now rooted for 'em. Don't tell the paying man.
Stay safe out there goose whisperer.

Blessings,
Mark

Every summer we have a goose invasion at the lake. They come up on the shore where we have lawn chairs, a fire ring, and grandkids like to wade out in the water. Problem is, we are talking a number of mated pairs and their goslings. We have to clean up poop every day. We had resorted to an electric noise box which went off every 15 minutes or so. It worked at first, but they got used to it. Now, we put up those colorful string of flags you see at garage sales. The flags are set about a foot high. That has worked so far.
