If every kid had to grow a garden and put up a cord of firewood before graduating high school our country would be in a much better place right now!
Can tell you put in some hard work. The payoff is worth it though!

Ol dad a cord split with an ax and 2 split with a power splitter yes kids need to learn to work. my son was splitting with the log splitter at about 11 he hates splitting but still splits a couple cord a year for me any way nice looking garden , I think we are finally past the last freeze 2 nights ago, I plan to till and plant this weekend if the rain holds off long enough
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I wish I had some of that dirt on my place. On the other hand, I harvested enough rocks out of my garden this year to build a fireplace and a retaining wall for the house.

Gonna make lots of produce! What are you going to do with it all? I eat or store what I can, I usually grow extra to try to always have enough, then I give extra to my customers or neighbors. I love Gotta have it sweet corn, it's the best ever

nice looking garden ! Lots of work involved . Something to be proud of for sure!!! Thanks 😊, I say it's my therapy. Butterflies and birds are fun to watch in garden too A lot of work this year cause I narrowed each bed a few inches, gaining 2 beds, I dig a trench to walk in

I wish I had some of that dirt on my place. On the other hand, I harvested enough rocks out of my garden this year to build a fireplace and a retaining wall for the house. I find gravel sized stones, I think my yard had clay fill hauled in to fill wet ground many years ago, then they put a foot or more good black dirt on top of clay. Old guy years ago said they used to hunt ducks there I used to haul black dirt to Wyoming rancher I trapped for, and brought coal shale home for trapping
