Ok, so this is an idiotic idea amongst the Covid health debacle. The OH Republican governor announcing a million dollar lottery for those 18 and over who have been vaccinated against Covid.
We're reducing this to "Who wants to be a millionaire!"

Amazes me how many that question the government on things like trapping laws and 2a issues jump on board taking experimental shots for something with such a low death rate. It's not like its documented fact the government has used unknowing people for studies and experiments.

If it was so great or necessary they wouldn't need to push and incentivise it so much. I mean come on bill boards, every 3rd commercial on the radio.

I can easily see who will blindly load up in the cattle cars. Barring those very old and high risk. Even then I would take my chances with covid from what I have see with my high risk family that had covid.


I'm sure I will upset those with soft feeling and other that will get defensive about getting their shots. Well its American and for a short time at least we can still voice our opinion and question the government.

This seem like a bad idea, if it stands, it will be used as precedence for other similar actions by both sides.

Extortion

The Yankees have an outbreak, and all have been vaccinated.

The one coach even had covid in Dec., then vaccinated but caught it yet again.Correction, their shortstop caught it twice.

Ohio has extra federal Covid relief money and loses it if they don't spend it. I don't think this is great use of taxpayer money. I think the basic idea is that this will motivate more people to get vaccinated and that Ohio is better off using the money then giving it back for the federal government to waste elsewhere.
