I'm pinging northern eastern plains guys about maybe good examples of surface water expansion in eastern North Dakota besides Devil's Lake starting in the 1990s. Good examples would be places that started off as marshes but are now full-blown lakes that get stocked with game fish. Or permanent lakes that have grown substantially in the last 30 years. I have a number of good examples I know about in northeast SD, but besides the Devil's Lake region, I know less about other places in eastern ND that also changed a lot in surface water. Thanks for any suggestions...
