Good day Trapperman,
My name is Raymond I live remote at Chatham, Alaska I plan on trapping this season and have joined to network with like-minded individuals and improve my trapping skills. My time zone is a couple hours differance from the lower 48 . There is mainly martin, otter, seal, Sea Lion, Whale, Eagles, ducks, geese, fishing fresh and saltwater, Salmon, Steelhead, Sitka Black tail Deer, Brown Bear. Its a nice spot with a lot going on. I like the outdoors and wish to be more self sufficient being in the woods and mountains. Hello Jim thank you for telling me about this site. I am also interested in old trapping magazines and paper advertising to decorate my caretakers cabin that I live in remote accessible only by seaplane or boat. Time to go more next visit be well and keep your powder dry.

Welcome. Most Alaska-specific threads are in the Wilderness forum, accessible at the top of the page. Nothing wrong with posting here in the general discussion forum though. T-man is a great resource. How long have you been there in Chatham?
Boco couldn't catch a cold. But if he did, it would be Top Lot.

Welcome!
I'm not familiar with Chatham, but assume it must be in the Southeast because of the steelhead and Sitka blacktails.

I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Raymond, I sent you a message, near the top of this page on the right hand side there should be a little envelope flashing in red, click on that to open your message.

Chatham is a tiny little burg on extreme SE Chichagof Island. Pretty neat little place in Sitkoh Bay. Good marten, mink, and river otter.
