I showed up yesterday to discover not 1 but 2 dp's laying on their side still set, wondered how a coon managed to do all that without getting caught then pulled my game camera and found out a coyote spent most of his night chewing on them like a dog on a bone and never set them off, lol.

Magic coyote bait was honey bun, there's your tip for the week.

Well I guess in the fall I'll try to catch a coyote on a honey bun. Name brand or off brand variety on the honey bun?

Wait until you see a coyote bouncing around on it's hind legs snapping at ripe wild plums or better yet a pair of them teaching their pups how it's done ha ha

USMC47 will really enjoy the second picture too ha ha

A lot of "deer" damage to ripe field corn is coyotes. If you see a perfectly round circle of cut corn stalks and no stalks, its beaver not aliens. Walk over to the creek bank river bank pond bank and you will see their trail. I have a mulberry tree in my side yard. Thing has attracted neighbor kids, squirrels, birds, deer, coons, possums, red fox and coyotes. Found a bobcat track in my yard a couple months ago. Right by the grand daughters pet rabbits cage. Wish I had been looking out the window. Bet that rabbit was nervous. Haven't seen what I figure to be fox or coyote tracks by it. Neighbor has chickens running loose. They have learned to bump the rod my wifes bird feeder is on to shake down grain. So far none missing but I dont figure that will last long. Heard an owl at dawn this morning.

I've seen where fox and coyotes both have worked them in the snow. Really attracted to the liquid smoke. The fox get caught every once in a while. I've also had coyotes on camera investigating raccoons caught. They'll return every night till you catch them.
