That might work. I repaired my Brand new Lacrosse waders that I knelt on a barbed wire fence just this spring. That made me insane. Private property no one uses tends to have CRAP on the ground because people are lazy bums. I used "GOOP MARINE" which I think is SO much better than "Aqual seal" in my limited experience. You can get it from Minnesota Trap Supply I think or F&T if not. Make sure to get the Marine version. It's great stuff.

Mine are leaking in the seal in the crotch. Not a puncture. In my experience, when the seams start to go it is time for a new pair of waders. Especially if they are neoprene. Know a guy who got the flex seal in a can and used it on his waders. It was waterproof for a few minutes, and they he started walking in them and the old leak came right back.

What Mike said. I tried Flex Seal when it first came out. I had maybe 5 minutes of dryness before the boots started leaking again. Did you try the tape?
Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

Jerry tried it. It didnt work on regular rubber waders.
He uses tire patches. I get them in a box of 20 from NAPA.
Theyre basically a dollar a patch...and ya gotta get the rubber cement..just like they use on tires.
IF IDIOTS GREW ON TREES THIS PLACE WOULD BE AN ORCHARD !

I’ve never had much luck totally sealing a crotch leak in neoprene waders. I use aqua seal. I think the neoprene in a crotch leak may get stretched and although no visible tear or hole allows water to leak thru it. I’ve gone over the surrounding neoprene and the crotch seam with aqua seal and still had leakage
