Best part was they were in Memphis TWICE. That is only about 75 mile away from me.

Drifter I had a package go back and forth between Houston and Beaumont 7 times before it finally made it to me! Postal service had no idea what was happening. Go figure!

Its a good thing the government is funding the USPS. A private business would have been belly up by now if it operated like this.

I ordered a muzzle brake for a new rifle... Supposed to arrive today (Fri. 5/21)

Now it won't be delivered till Monday. Wish I could get away with treating customers like this.

Over a year of excuses for p!$$ poor service from everyone.

I had the same thing happen on an envelop that I mailed a few weeks ago to Tennessee. It was a 3 day envelope which isn’t guaranteed anymore, but it arrived in Memphis in 2 days putting it right on time, but then it went to Lexington then to Louisville and back to Memphis. Then sat in Memphis for 3 days until it was transferred to the post office. Overall it took 9 days.

I’m going through the same thing now with a a return shipment from Tenn to WV. My package was mailed on May 13th for a projected May 19th delivery. It sat in Memphis until May 20th and now it is in Houston Texas which is twice the distance from Tenn to WV. That puts the current shipping time at 8 days so it will be 10+ when it finally arrives.

I’m about done with the USPS

Kansas came up with a new plan for vehicle tags. When you pay the tax at the courthouse you are given the new sticker. The tags are mailed from Topeka. Been a month. I called Topeka. Tags are missing. You dont get new ones as the number is a unique identifier. No clue what the plan is if they stay lost.

This thread triggered my memory on another USPS fiasco. I shipped two EBay packages back in mid Feb. both were “delayed by weather” they didn’t move for over a week. Buyers were getting antsy but were understanding. After the time limit for making a missing package claim, I made a claim for each. I forwarded the claim info to the buyers to keep them in the loop. The next day one buyer contacts me to tell me his package arrived and two days later the other buyer contacts me to tell me their package arrived.

The tracking for neither package has ever updated past the destination where it was last updated and I still get an email monthly from the USPS that they are trying to locate my packages, but haven’t and are still working to locate them. This is still going on 3 months after they were delivered.

I told y'all about the Muslim postmiss in Polk City Fla that told me "we don't carry Christmas stamps". Hired because of the color of her skin.

I hadn't caught that one Cragar. It was a copy and paste from their tracking site. Maybe was a side effect from their spell that made it invisible for 10 days.

It arrived today in a mud and grease covered envelope that looked like been run through the mill. Surprised the contents were still in it and unharmed. Says a lot for the boxes they pack the bullets in from Sierra.

Got a package from UPS delivered in a U haul last week, said they sold all their trucks to Amazon so was having to rent those to make delivery's in, lol. Goofy country we now live in, like twilight zone most of the time.
