Well, survived my back surgery. Lol. Doc is real happy on the results. Before surgery, I couldn't lift my foot off of the bed, Yesterday I could lift it 18inches off the bed. Had surgery Thursday and yesterday they removed the IV, Cath, pain pump and blood pressure cuff, This morning they are removing the 2 drain tubes. My shoulders are really hurting me. During surgery, they had me on my belly with my arms extended straight above my head for 8 hours. I have 28 screws and 2 rods that go from my tailbone to the base of my neck. I guess I get to go home Monday. Have a ways to go, but plan on thinning out the coyotes

That much hardware sounds painful. I’m glad to hear you’ll be killing coyotes.

Hope you end up as happy with it as the doctors.

I had major back surgery , about 12 years ago. Really don't know how successful it will be. You just have to trust them to do their best for you. Mine changed my life. Can do most things , and no pain. Just be patient, don't over do it and do all your strength exercises. Glad to hear you are doing well. You will soon , be checking out some new set locations. Good Luck. old243

Sounds like it might have been a well needed surgery.

In 2005 I had a boom go off in front of my vehicle outside Fallujah. I could feel the heat and the smoke and dust engulfed us and I remember thinking, “That was close.” Then we hit the hole created by the IED. It herniated 3 disks which I lived with for 7 or so years. I had a surgery about 2013 or so and it was the best thing I ever did. You’ll likely always have some pain but not like before the surgery. Expectation management is important.

Yeah feel better soon because I suspect it will take more than a few coyotes to pay for all that new hardware. Boss might dub you The Bionic Man around here
