None out yet-july/aug for them here.Bulldogs too(horseflys)
Blackflies are just starting to come out now.
June is bug(blackfly/mosquito) month here.Mosquitos usually only a problem at dawn and dusk or heavy humid overcast days.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

We got yellow flies and horse flies now. Get them in my truck every evening cruising around the plantation, but I never get bit even outside the truck.

Deer flies are a July pest here.
Thank God they are only a 2 week event.
Can't imagine how any wild animal can get any rest?

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

Deer flies aren't here yet but soon. Brutal especially on open ground. Better staying under the trees. So bad on one farm every year you have an impossible time getting any work done outside the tractor. They go away at dark but lucky us then the skeeters come out to suck the life outta ya

Not enough heat units yet here to have them. Should not be too long however.

We have the SOBs here and they will wear you out

We also call them sand flies (seem to be more in sandy areas)

They love light colors, thought about putting some kind of sticky something on my cap to catch them.

Have several sizes of horseflies too
