I got a 2015 Chevy 6 liter gas and gonna have dyno-max cat back daul exhaust put on it on Tuesday. Hope it does what they say it does, supposed to help performance and milage. Hope it helps pull the trailer's better.? I'm use to diesel pickup's, I sure miss my old Duramax. Just couldn't justify the price of them back in 2015 when I was truck shopping.

You will never get the torque from a gas motor you can get from diesel. Gas motors get max torque at much higher rpm also.
Fortunately for me I dont need a pick up for a heavy trailer. Diesel and winter can be a nightmare. Higher fuel cost and maintenance cost is another down side.
If you need diesel you wont ever get a higher price for your used gas pickup if you can find a diesel reasonably priced.

Most newer trucks have a pretty efficient exhaust system already. The exhaust on that truck is probably already bigger than 3", with smooth bends, and a low restriction muffler. It's not like back in the 70s and 80s where they had something like a 2" single exhaust with crinkle bends and super restrictive mufflers. The catback kitmay make a difference that's measurable on a Dyno, but it's probably not enough to notice a seat-of-the-pants improvement. It'll mostly be a "sounds good" improvement.
If you want big noticeable improvements, you'll be looking at things like tuners and superchargers.

Hopefully it works but keep in mind if it doesnt pull a load as well as you want it to you can put slightly smaller tires on the rear and it is way less expensive than a different rear end of engine mods

Gonna trade some old Chevy for part of the work, and gonna be advertising for him too. Plus got "sleepy Joe's $$$$ burning a hole in pocket" and what a better way to waste it huh Thinking to about a K&N air filter, as long as it trip the mass air flow sensor.

Can't wait to pull my camper and run the trap line with a electric pickup. Plus I'll be out of a job, they won't need platinum and padium for converter's.
