Need two porcupines gone.
Customers have a dog, no pinch points, and porkys only stop by once or twice a week at 2 am.
Checked out all Denning sites, no one home, no fresh sign in nearby trees.
They are chewing the underside of the cottage.
What would you bait them with?

There should be a worn trail where they are acessing under the camp. I would try to trap them there where they are doing the damage.Put exclusion wire around the bottom of the camp after you catch them..

If they are as dumb as 'dillas you can fence them into funneling into your traps fairly easy. Hope this helps

There should be a worn trail where they are acessing under the camp. I would try to trap them there where they are doing the damage.Put exclusion wire around the bottom of the camp after you catch them.. Cottage is massive on high piers. sixty feet long, fifty wide, extensive decks. Would take a week of sundays to exclude it. Good news is they can afford it. lol And its just open georgian bay bush. No visible trails. Owner says they just wander all around.. Damage is spread out under the building. They just stand on their back legs and chew wherever the LVLs are close enough to the ground. Good news is I shot one last night. I am a short boat ride from them. I told buddy to just call me when he hears the other one chewing and ill come get it... Cottage is between two massively high rock areas further to each side of the cottage. Checked it all out last night and found cave after cave of winter denning sites. Could have filled a pickup truck with built up porky crap. Some caves I could crawl right in. Perfect porky habitat if I ever saw it. One down anyway. I hate porkys. Quills always all over the boat lol.
