We will not stop the march of progressivism. If you don't know this, you don't know how we all got where we are. The American constitution was, at its core, progressivism beginning anew from tyrannical Brits.
Progressivism marches on because those living now think they are better equipped and more intelligent than any one who came before them to march into the future. They alone possess the holy grail of answers. Heritage holds less and less power.
Look in the mirror. Do you have better "answers" than someone from 2000? 1980? 1950? 1900? 1800? 1776? 1500? I bet grandpa thought the same way. And his grandpa. And his grandpa. And your grandkids will dispose of much of what you think anyway because of ^^^^^^^^^^.
Some on this TMan Forum hold on to heritage but you will be run over as "unknowing" by the progressives among us. And by definition: Anyone who insists their ideas are supreme lives in the tents of the progressives. Hint: It has nothing to do with any political party. Never has. Never will.
Blessings, Mark

I know someone who is unchanging and I'll stick with Him. That is until I do something in spite of Him, then He will stick with me.

Do you have better "answers" than someone from 1776? Not a far as the guys who came up with the US Constitution. "Ideas" might be more pertinent than "answers".

The U.S march to the Left is due wholly to immigration. 70% of Latino voters vote left, 90% of Black voters vote left. Demographics are an accurate predictor of the future, look to central America if you want to see the future of the U.S. I disagree. It doesn't fall solely at the feet of our educational establishment but a great deal of it does. K-12 and higher education were hijacked decades ago and we're seeing the fruits of it.

Indoctrinating children certainly doesn't help but in the age of the internet even kids fed heaps of BS for 13 years have the ability to educate themselves. The fact's when it comes to voting demographics don't lie, Latinos vote left 70% of the time and Blacks 90%. This why California, NM, AZ and soon Texas will be forever blue states and why after 2024 there is little chance the Republican could win a Presidential election. Even the whole of the Republican party has shifted left due to the need to chase those votes, there is no "Conservative" party any longer, just progressives and progressive lites.

That would be true if public schools and universities taught kids how to think for themselves (critical thinking), rather than what to think.

Hence the problem^^^^ ITS NOT the schools job that IS THE PARRENTS job. But they want to out source all responsibly to the government and this is the result. Few parrents actually raise their kids. Strangers in schools and daycares do that for them.

What scares me is that they do think they have all the answers and they may burn the house down because they think they can build a better one...it is a dangerous time.

How about the 2 kids in FL, a 14 year old boy and a 12 year old girl breaking into a home, finding guns and having a shoot out with deputies? There are too many reasons why all of this is happening than to try to mention them.
I don't care how nice the hand soap smells, you should never walk out of the restroom sniffing your fingers.

I can think of a few ppl here on this forum I that constantly think their ideas are better than everybody else's. No names need to be mentioned. I changed the kickstand on my motorsickle because I don't even want that leaning to the left.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

I can think of a few ppl here on this forum I that constantly think their ideas are better than everybody else's. No names need to be mentioned. Amen GB. Progressivism decides what's core and what's a peripheral issue. We have, as a culture, been changing the core tenets of our nation for a couple hundred years in "hurry up" fashion, so we'll see how the ball bounces. The world marches on and us humans pave our road as we go. It's been that way since the opening scene. We just have more individual, versus corporate ideas these days is all on how the bricks should all be laid, and as a result there's quite a bit of fighting about "who" is right. Some never capitulate. They are 100% of the time on 100% of subjects. I'm sure not. I'm pretty good at coyotes but never caught a pine Martin. My fascination is why are peripheral subjects (gay marriage being a prime example) are fought over so vehemently while the core slips away. It's as if fighting 1,000 battles on the edge of the map will capture the capital. WDC has folded. It is 95% liberated in a political sense. Blessings, Mark

Without some form of democracy, progressivism would not exist. Democracy is an experiment that has produced more changes to the world in 200 years than the world has seen in 6 thousand years, but to what end. Most Americans look at the world from a very narrow perspective. Before our founding fathers disrupted the "New World" our educational system taught very little other than philosophy and religion (lead by Loyalist and Kings Men). Look at our oldest Universities all before the revolutionary war. So Social Darwinisms and Progressivism are not new, check out Rome and Greece. The agenda to remove democracy will take care of all progressive issues as governments based on Dictatorship will solve all internal conflict. I would worry less about the smoke and look at the reflection off the mirror to see the reality of where we are going and why we are going in that direction. Progressivism is a political philosophy in support of social reform. (mostly unique to Democratic nations) https://listverse.com/2019/05/30/10-ways-the-roman-empire-was-surprisingly-progressive/The American experiment The American experiment was unique and improbable in 1776, when Thomas Jefferson penned the Declaration of Independence and the American colonies defied Britain, the most powerful nation on earth at the time. As we look around the world at how difficult it is for democracy and freedom to take hold and flourish, America seems like a political miracle. https://www.heritage.org/political-process/commentary/the-american-experimentMy fascination is why are peripheral subjects (gay marriage being a prime example) are fought over so vehemently while the core slips away.
