It's fishing season give me to at least my first bushel of tomatoes before I am ready for fall
learning to appreciate all the seasons and makes the year fly by

pheasant , squirrel , trapping , deer , late pheasant , ice fishing , snow shoe, trapping , firewood cutting , spring turkey , spring shooting sports season , fishing , sucker run , rivers , fishing opener , catfish , 4th of july , blue grass festivals and more fishing , shooting competitions and clinics ,early goose , duck , squirrel and pheasant and back around again
one those days too cold for any of it , sitting by the fire and making a nice soup. those days to hot for anything swimming
if only there weren't' mosquitos and working on beautiful days
if you ever get bored you could chase coyotes with a rifle every day of the year

we got a taste of it last Friday , it snowed a bit
I can live with 80 degree days and 55 degree nights makes for good sleeping

We had a pretty nice spring but here comes the heat and humidity. It wouldn't bother me a bit if we could skip summer and go straight to late fall and then winter.
Eh...wot?

I heard 98 degrees here Saturday and high humidity. I hate anything above 75 humid or not.
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

I'll take winter over summer anyday.Flys are not too bad yet,May is nice here, and good fishing.June is the worst month for flys,July too hot.August is my favorite summer month. No flys and normally a dry month with warm days and cool nights,September too. October probably the best month here for me,puttering around out on the traplines at camp getting ready hunting every day and trapping some beaver to clear the trails, then winter starting mid November means setting for land fur which is the life.November is the worst month for feeling the cold.December Jan Feb and March the land is wide open for travel-by far the best time to be in the bush if you want to put on the miles to get way back in to explore new country.

I dread summer. Already got poison ivy and the plants haven’t even flourished yet! So hot out there today too!!
Nothing but misery during the summer. I want winter back!! Now!!
Cold as ice!

I guess I would miss my garden time. And the spring fishing as well. The thing is, I can always add more clothing to stay warm in the winter In the heat I can only take off so much clothing before it's illegal.

I can't wait, miss it with a passion. Our winters keep getting shorter and hotter. I'd wouldn't mind being in it 24/7/365
