The older and weaker I get, the more crutches I need. What kind of setters are you using for #330's? The county is making a near full-time job of beaver trapping, lately, an the old rope trick is getting old.

If I'm near the truck, I use those aluminum scissor ones with the red handles. If I'm away from the truck, I use a rope that I carry in my pocket.

My kid run off with the Sleepy Creek setters but I remember them being really good

If your grip isn't what it used to be, you might look at the self locking types

Switched to coon creek locking setters last year and love them. Like an extra hand.

I'm itchin' to see a coyote twitchin'.

More trappin' and less yappin'.

The RTS Setter is a little slower than the Sleepy Creeks but it is locked every time you pump the handle.

I won the auction a couple years back for the RTS setters and have used them the last two years and can say they are worth whatever I paid for them . Highly recommend them

If you're ever interested in having someone ride along and carry beavers for ya I am always looking to learn a new trick or two.

Trapperkeck. If you order an RTS Setter from MTP at top of page, or any other dealer, and you don’t get along with it just give me a call. My # is right on the setter, I’ll take it back and send you a check.

Ive had lots of calls and letters from Trappers who’s hands arnt what they used to be and say our setter got them back in the game.

Good luck out there!
