Hey guys! I'm thinking about making some more bait this year. I have a beaver tail in the freezer, a couple of muskrat carcasses, and a couple if caster glands. Also have some leftover deep fry grease.
Let me know if you guys have any ideas/tips/recipes that you would like to share. I'm sure I can find more ingredients too. Thanks.

There are a zillion of different ideas but two things count. Write down what you do and keep records of the results. I’ll let the pros submit formulas.

Make beaver tail oil for a great lure. Then use the pieces of tail for bait when your done rendering

Start now in dipping some of the deep fry oil so they will begin digging looking for the pot of gold.

Teach them a bad habit and make them pay for it.

I know all Robert Waddell used in his quest for 1000 Coyotes was Muskrat quarters. He used no lure.
