Story about AR15s won’t be good.

Not good making the bullet sound almost magic like showed it up against a 9MM pistol with ballistic jell and slow mo filming. Why not put it up against a 30-06 but that would not fit the narrative they sought.

I don't recall 60 Minutes ever doing the sportsmen any favors. They have their own agenda, and they won't likely change their tactics either, when it comes to showing any of us in a positive light.

I watched Barbara Walters do a 20-20 show called killer trucks in the drivers lounge at the old 76 truckstop in Ontario CA. nothing but greatly exaggerated minor problems and flat out lies. whole room full of really angry drivers. a couple three years later we had to get a federal license, issued by individual states, called a CDL. Commercial Driver License.

My point is that these shows are effective and the media has no qualms about lying and exaggerating. There will be more fallout.

Its for the clueless part of the population that knows nothing really about the differences of pistols, rifles, or shotguns. What would have happened if that gelatin block or a human body being hit by a .30-06 vs the .223...? I'd still like to read a very detailed report on all the forensics on the Vegas massacre, such as how many victims were not hit with a .22 cal bullet. As far as I know, the FBI or any other fed agency released such a report. Bump stock AR-15s were taking people out past 400 yards from that 30 story window...?? Worse single kill event in modern America and almost no real science is known about it (follow the science!!). Our little Howdy Doody in the U.S. House thinks I'm interested in "gun issues". Maybe I should ask him to produce me that FBI forensics report...

Heck I still remember the Guns of Autumn show they put out 50+ years ago never trusted the media after that.

According the the report I saw..the only guns that had something other than a red dot scope or no optics at all were his AR10/.308s

I believe the Vegas murderer used real full auto. Guy supposedly had money. So why would he fool with bump stocks????????????????? Like a lot of other tales we are told I suspect this one is full of lies. Government tries very hard to convince people that the National Firearms Act is effective in keeping machine guns out of the hands of outlaws. The president did set a precedent for ATF to change the law without any legislators voting on it by "reinterpreting" existing law. I suspected at the time that we would pay dearly for it.

Or there were multiple shooters? I tried finding the "cabbie video" of the cab driver trying to figure out how they show leave the area. It was easily found right afterwards, now it seems to be gone. Towards the end, they drive underneath what sounds like vary close by sustained fire that wouldn't have the cyclic rate of "nearly full auto" AR-15. Sounds like the roll of a M-60. How much do you think a M-60 costs on the black market in the PI where the "guy" went on occasion and his gf was from. "Oh, but its just an echo". Yeah, how does an echo slow down the cyclic rate?? Senator Cotton, ex-military, right have the event, said some of the fire sounded like a M-60. If any news reporters had real nads, someone would have asked if there was a possibility of real machine guns being used. Never heard that question raised. Just report what is spoon fed to them.

Ok, to SniperB's comment on the AR-10s. Again, how many of the victim's had 30 cal entry wounds vs 22 cal entry wounds? How many spent 308 cases were recovered vs 223? Anybody ever hear forensic stuff like later being released?? Maybe it was and none of the media covered it, don't know. But I suspect it wasn't. Stuff like that is important if the truth is wanted from such an event. But maybe that's the sticking point...

How does a president really control the bureaucracy with all that's going on around him, such as constant attacks on him? How do control that part of the bureaucracy that pretty much acts on its own, especially when they have their own agendas...??

Ive watched and listened to all the Vegas videos. Not a full auto...doesn't sound like a bump stock. Sounds like a Gat trigger to me the way the rate of fire speeds up and slows down.

So your saying Trump telling the ATF to ban bump stocks is different than Biden telling them to make all those firearms NFA items?

P.S. when Chipman says "Anything bigger than 22. An AR 15 is a 223 caliber". That includes 22 rimfire which are also 223 caliber.

If the idiot actually had a M-60, there would have been a much higher body count in that kinda target rich environment.
