I like it for target shooting thr 9mms and for swapping ammo if I got a good deal on it. As far as me shooting a bunch I dont

If, and it's a big if, we can find any ammo these days, it's almost always FMJ. Something is better than nothing...

Curious are FMJ ang good for varmint hunting? Fur damage? Illegal here (I believe) but I have seen critters killed with FMJ, much less damage and a well placed shot still makes them dead quick.

Conventional wisdom is that you never want to have a mag full of FMJ in an active shooter situation because even if you hit your intended target it could over penetrate and put an innocent in harm's way behind them

Its cheap or used to be cheap. I shoot it at targets out of my 223. I load noslers for hunting. partitions for deer and ballistic tips for coyotes

Still have lots of FMJ war surplus in many cals. Shoot mainly out of old military weapons. Plinko targets with it. Gave some .30/06 to a buddy this hunting season when he couldn't find ammo and he got a whitetail doe
