Out here we always sell at the farmers Market by the pint. Nobody in Oregon sells small fruits/berries by the quart.

We are selling a 12 pint flat for $50 and $4.50 a pint by single pints. We sell out early.

Yes, we are certified organic...but even the non-organic mennonite farmers (we don't have amish) are charging $4.50/pint.

Keith, when those Seascapes hit their second flush they'll be even sweeter.

Clamshell at the grocery store weighs one pound. A quart of berries is suppose to weigh 1 1/2 pounds. The berries in the picture don’t look like they will make 1 1/2 pounds. These are federal minimums for weights and measures. Grocery stores went to by the pound for multiple reasons, labor cost, correct weight on quarts ect. Weigh your berries, to see if they weigh 24 ounces to the quart, bet they don’t.

We have always sold berries by volume. We've no time for scales during berry harvest.

We went to a volume deal this year @ $35.00 . Pay $35.00 up front pick all you can pick and leave. It seems to be working.
Last Thursday they sold 2600 quarts of pre picked.
