Aside from playing with the cheap stuff as a kid, I don't see the attraction of blowing up perfectly good money. We got the fireworks bug guys here too, pro grade stuff that costs a bundle....It's got to the point that every weekend in the summer there fireworks going off somewhere. Luckily, the dog that freaks out over it has gone mostly deaf...

Apparently ther is a shortage on fireworks this year. Hopefully prices didn't explode into sky high territory.
Our favorite fireworks stand posted there's a shortage of fireworks this year so some normal specials won't happen. I think "shortage" has become the new marketing ploy, replacing the old going out of business sale.
