Goats are outlaws and like to go where they please (or basically any place you don't want them)

Other then a BBQ their only saving grace to me is they eat poison ivy. I still prefer round up over goats.

We had two goats when I was a kid. Came home from church one day and they had ate the blossoms off of Mom's rose bushes. That was the last straw. They became timber goats 10 miles away.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

This thread is a riot.
Pete, can you see the stone arch from the ends of the building? Can't wait to see your photos.
On the goat subject, Zim's sister had just brought home her brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd. with less than 200 miles on it, when she stopped at a person's house to return a clean dish they left after a church picnic. As she stood at their front door, she heard loud clomping sounds and turned around to see a little black goat who had run up across the hood and onto the roof of her new vehicle. He left perfectly dented and scratched goat tracks. I could not stop laughing when she told me about it. If it was me, I would have kept the tracks! (She got it repaired, but we called it the goatmobile ever since.)

Thanks for the goat stories. These two haven't gotten in too much trouble yet... only eating roses. The biggest challenge for me in our recent move was catching them so I could transport them with the mare and the donkeys. Here are some pictures of the inside of the building they were on. It is my temporary workshop until I get the concrete poured in the barn for my new woodshop. I can't imagine what the roof weighs. This is the mudroom on one end of the house with the same style ceiling. This is the upper half of the barn that will house the new shop. I can't wait, but the stone masons around here are always busy. Pete

That is beautiful work. Use to build fountains and waterfalls for a pool company. I love seeing the art of masonry. Thanks for sharing
