Yes southridge and jasper are major rivals. They play each other each season. Jasper won 4-3 this year. Jasper has typically been the dominant team in our county for years.

When I played at southridge, we barely won half of our games. They were 26-7 this year. Gene has really turned the baseball program around. He was one of our assistant coaches then, and I wished he’d have had a bigger role. Our team had potential but we needed a coach to help put it all together

Southridge also has one of the best facilities in the state

Southridge has one player in the first round MLB picks and 4 boys going to div. 1 schools
