Just got a email ad from the Federal premium page it shows 2 brothers shooting TSS shot and busting clay pigeons at 160, 170 and 180 yards. Maybe someone can set up the link it’s beyond me. Federalpremium.com

That is some pretty expensive clay shooting. Over $4 shot.

When you load your own it is a good bit less. Shot is ~$50 a pound. Wads are ~ $0.80 each. Hulls are ~$0.20 each. For a 1 1/8 ounce load it will set you back a little over $5 a shot.

Sure need a whole different layout for the trap shooting range with those loads.

Very cool,I'm guessing people are reaching out 50,60 yards if they're using it on turkeys.

Must be shooting the drop by the time those loads get there hard to believe that it still has a pattern even. Look out turkeys next year the shooting will be ridge to ridge!

Hope this doesn't get popular. There is enough sky busters in the marsh as it is.

Had a buddy that was with guy who was using those shells while they were hunting turkey's together. He kept telling my buddy that he drops turkey's at 80 yards with those shells. My buddy was skeptical and said Ok let me see you do it. Next turkey they came across was dropped around the 80 yard mark. My buddy said he was impressed.

That’s my thought also. Great more Sky busters for all things winged.

Turkey calling will be a lost art if they won’t come in to a call.

Go hang a clay pigeon in the side of the barn, and tell me if you can even see it at 180 yds.

Then try and shoot it with a shotgun, just hanging there, motionless.

Let me know how many shots it takes.

I load Heavy shot, Heavy weight 13, and TSS for ducks and geese. I know for a fact TSS #7s will make a clean pass through on giant canada geese at 70+ yards. It literally drags feathers all the way through the body cavity.
