It was a heckuva show for sure. Hundreds of photos on the PTA Facebook page with many showing the big crowds. Most of the vendors were super busy helping customer after customer. Trapping ain’t dead yet!

Paul, nice to see you again and spend some time talking. I read the book cover to cover already, great read. I also posted your picture with your book on TH&H FB site and we got quite a few hits, you are a very popular guy. Anyway stay safe v/r Jim

It didn't require me to join. I just clicked on one of the pictures then I could view the whole group of photos. I'm not a facebook member.

I understand the reluctance of being on Facebook because I felt that way myself, But I got on it for what I wanted to use it for and not for all the drama and play by play of someones every day life. I have made connections with folks I had lost touch with otherwise and it is nice to be able to communicate with those folks. I also discovered that there are a lot of public and private groups on FB including lots of trapping groups.

Like PA, NC has a FB group. Many other states have them also and I believe that FB reaches a group of folks that may not be on the state or individual forums like Trapperman or are not members of their state associations. But they are interested in trapping and many times are looking for help much like folks posting on the more traditional forums. FB is another social media site. Social media sites are all different and I certainly do not agree with the politics of many of them.

But many of them including FB have something to offer. Just use the part you feel is worthwhile and ignore to rest.

The pictures on the PA FB page are a good example. There are literally a couple hundred pictures posted that were taken at the PA convention. Where else are you going to see them? Pictures of awards being presented, kids and adult trap setting contests, demos, tailgaters, vendors, etc....

FB is just another tool in the tool box.

But FB will bring customers to your website and your booth.

If we quit using products developed by folks we do not agree with, there would not be any social media. Apple, Microsoft and Google are all as bad if not worse than FB but they provide products and services that most of us do not want to do without. Some do draw the line and it is up to each of us to decide where that line is.

Just trying to point out that there is good and bad in most everything.
