That pipe is a large metal tank with the end cut out and those “lips” were part of the tank.
I do something different at some those (especially deeper water). That setup was going to be a speed demo at Minktoberfest.

Theres a beautiful hand cut stone bridge and the county has to toss a few boulders at the base and destroy the beauty. Like what could they possibly help?
I was surprised that the two coon did not tear each other up. I am just used to keeping my traps separated far enough that they can not reach each other. I have had some tore up coon over the years.......jk
