Another quick question ( btw I'm trying to answer all the pm's I got about the resume ,thanks for help btw ). Made up a batch of 3-5oz egg sinkers to selling another site. I know alot of folks use them on set lines and have problems putting thicker line though the holes like a #36. Was considering drilling the holes out and just bumping the price up but would it be better to just offer it as an option for say a $1 more per pound of weights ? Just wanted to see what y'all thought ?

Rather than drilling individual weights can you chuck up the mold block and drill out for a larger core wire?

having tried to drill out cast bullets to make bullet sinkers , lead binds drill bits hard

swaging the hole might make more sense

a turned down pin for your reloading press , some lube and a shell holder modified to have a way to hold the eg sinker on the up stoke

,however a larger core wire would make a lot more sense , modify once and have it done and all the weights have the larger holes.

you have my interest with well priced 3-5 ounce egg sinkers check PM

also how small must your holes be 50pound whisker seeker line is .024" Berkley big game 40# is .024 manufacturers dimensions although holding the 2 next to each other I would swear the whisker seeker 50# is thinner by a touch.

you would have to have very small holes or they are using really fat 36# line

#36 in tarred and twisted is 300lb test and what I use for the mainline on trotlines. Overkill for droppers, jugs, limblines or bankpoles..

I've considered it but I know some people don't like the holes to big when using them on rod and real because they can mess up the rig

Yup, they would slide down over the swivel. Other than two sets of blocks no easy answer.
