Keep all my lures, oils and baits in the basement with no problems. Get a little mold on outside of some jars if the cellar gets damp so I write what everything is with permanent marker on the lids

I have had some leftover lures rust and rot the lids off in a couple seasons, (salt)? Now when a lure gets down to less than a quarter bottle towards season ending, the last sets get lots of lure or it gets tossed in trash. Then I buy new. If I like a lure and its in 1 oz. bottle, the next time I get 4 oz. or two 4 oz. bottles. I also put clear packing tape over label and permanent mark on lids, often in a pouch all you can see is the lid.
