Keep all my lures, oils and baits in the basement with no problems. Get a little mold on outside of some jars if the cellar gets damp so I write what everything is with permanent marker on the lids

Put mine in a bucket and cover with sand. Snap lid on and store in garage out of the sun.

Lure, and urine that is to be held over any length of time should be placed in the pressure cooker in their own bottles and pressure cooked like vegetables so the lid seals.
Then buried under the ground out of the sunlight.
Use only the newest models of pressure cookers.

I have a lure that ain’t worth a penny for catching fur but I love the way it smells so I keep it around and even use it here and there. Lol.

I have had some leftover lures rust and rot the lids off in a couple seasons, (salt)? Now when a lure gets down to less than a quarter bottle towards season ending, the last sets get lots of lure or it gets tossed in trash. Then I buy new. If I like a lure and its in 1 oz. bottle, the next time I get 4 oz. or two 4 oz. bottles. I also put clear packing tape over label and permanent mark on lids, often in a pouch all you can see is the lid.
