Very good show.
The appears to be quite a few “liberties” taken at a glance however the possibility they could be the reality are refreshing.

our family is enjoying it.........we've always seen jesus portrayed as stiff and stale in countless movies and such.............I would like to think , the jesus portrayed here, is prob how he was..........hopefully someday , if the lord finds favor on me, , I'll meet him face to face and find out for sure.

A friend has the best painting of Jesus I have ever seen...very cool and unusual...he's laughing like someone just told him a great joke..like one that starts with "A priest, rabbi, and a minister are sitting at a bar..." Look up Willis Wheatley.

It's a great show and the most personable Jesus ever. I read somewhere where someone asked if Jesus was safe. The reply was no, he's not safe, but he's good.

yea, upset is not the right word - may be disappointed? I thought they did a GREAT job with Judas - and we knew he had to come into the fold at some time. I'm curious to see how Judas transitions over time. For me, this is the best portrayal of the life of Jesus that I have seen- IMO he is "real"

I have never seen the show, but it sounds interesting.
I've watched quite a few shows about Jesus. IMO, by far the best was "Jesus of Nazareth". Robert Powell played Jesus closer to how I would have imagined Jesus more than any other actor.

So far they have portrayed him with a good heart and he seems to really understand what is happening. Like you stated, it will be interesting seeing him transform.
