I've posted stats on Chicago, here, a few times. Most of Chicago is very safe and some small, black and Hispanic parts are terrible. White people very, very, seldom get killed in Chicago. The one year, no white bodies turned up until July and then only one. The people getting killed are mostly not innocent of a life of crime. Innocents are usually in close proximity to a criminal when shot in Chicago.
If you stay away from black and Hispanic areas, in particular the poor ones, Chicago is reasonably safe to visit.
Keith I think it follows Milwaukee's pattern of 97% felon on felon murders and it wouldn't even be that low but they miss and hit an innocent once in a while Chief Flynn was right when he said there are 4 simple rules to not get shot in Milwaukee - Don't be part of a crime gang or crew Don't be a drug dealer Don't illegally carry a gun And finally... If you are in an argument with a stranger, ask them how often they've been arrested. If they've been arrested more often than you've been arrested, concede the point But no one wanted to hear that.

Maybe they need one gang to run everything like the Capone days, instead of a lot of small gangs?

Well I see my post on here and the fella that posted immediately before me whom I agreed and responded to both got axed. I guess even on trapperman you can't speak openly and say the truth. This place really is becoming full of snow flakes. And its sad the "mods" are the ones who do it cause they got a little power.sad indeed... Not when the language in the post isn't suitable for a "Kids Welcome" forum. I almost banned the people responsible. Count yourself lucky.

TrapMaster--you think being a mod is a power thing????? you best spend a few hours reading the posts, then respond to the e-mails sent by members who are offended by some of these posts. Kid friendly is--and has always been,a major theme on this forum. Seems some just can't understand and abide by this major rule. We are supposed to be teaching the next generation of trappers . Not all are cut out to be teachers,as evident by some of those that post. Tom

Wonder what a gallon bucket of fentynol or heroin or meth would cost the government? I bet less than the cost of putting the addict in jail for a week. Maybe if an addict could get a bucketful just for asking we wouldnt have near so many

Biden doesn't know what to do. What needs done is too hard so he is blaming firearms. Telling the public he will pull licenses when a dealer commits a felony sounds about right for the clueless urbanites

Biden doesn't know what to do. What needs done is too hard so he is blaming firearms. Telling the public he will pull licenses when a dealer commits a felony sounds about right for the clueless urbanites I keep telling them I've been peacefully armed for more than forty years and intend to stay that way unless they make it impossible for me to do so. I'll remain armed but maybe not peacefully depending on how hard they feel like pushing. FB tells me saying that is a violation of community standards and they booted me for it. I served my time in exile and they let me back in. They're an uptight bunch over there.

I see part of Biden's proposed plan is to pull FFL licenses from dealers who fail to perform background checks. I didn't know we had a problem there. It will be interesting in a couple of years to see what percentage of convicted felons who lie on a background check in an attempt to obtain a fire arm actually end up being prosecuted. Under Obama (who shipped guns to cartels who were then used to kill our own border patrol agents) that number was ridiculously low.
My stance is this: If you don't enforce the laws you have, don't both askin me about getting some new ones. Nope, not even close
