Get a can of whole kernel corn a couple rods with heavy line with a strong leader, small hooks, put a couple split shots above the hook, bait the hook with corn and wait. My son and I did this about 10 days ago and had my granddaughter netting, what a blast.

Likely feeding. Carp feed throughout the water column on all sorts of bugs and fish. Youtube zig rig fishing. Its a technique for catching carp up off the bottom

Yup loosegoose, sucking cotton off top of pond, cotton from cotton wood trees.
"Match the hatch" is how the fly fisherman call it...so if trying to catch them use what they are feeding on.
Or you can just spear or arrow them, both quite legal here for taking carp.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Come on guys..... This is not new...... hook one kernel of stale (popped) popcorn and toss in the midst of them when they are gulping (no weights so it floats) ....... use a cane pole or long fly rod... Really, you need more redneck/hillbilly genes like me LOL....................... the mike

Different kind of cotton, but does anyone still catch carp on limb lines using cottonseed cake?

Set at surface, with hooks on both sides? They snag themselves?

Let the chickens out a few hours ago calm wind now I seen one carp a uprooted tree swimming around. From what I read they follow the females around waiting for eggs to be laid in the shallows then the males fertile them.
