I really hate to agree with this character but I have to on this one!

What is the solution to gun violence that we can all agree on. It is out of hand in many communities.

Commit a violent crime with a gun and go to prison for life or until you are too old to remember how to use a gun. Take those people out of the community forever. There are mandatory minimums now but DA's often drop the charges in a plea bargain.

I think it will need to be a mixture of things, tougher on crimes committed but also programs that focus on youth prior to committing crimes .

Cuomo just getting off on more emergency power. He couldn’t care less about gun violence. In NY just about every crime committed with a firearm ,by a repeat offender ,the gun violation is pled down. That’s why gun laws are a joke.

If everyone owns a gun it will end alot of shootings. It might go up for a while but the smart ones will be the live ones you don't go shooting at someone that can shoot back.

Number one, stop calling it "gun violence"... there are actual individuals, "criminals", committing these crimes!

Number two, punish these "criminals" that use and/or possess firearms illegally... incarcerate them and keep them off the street!

Number three, cuomo has gotta go! And all the other liberal, leftist nut-jobs(ex. aoc, schumer, etc.) gotta go also... vote them out!

The only thing I can agree on is we have a violent people problem not a gun problem.

If that were the truth, crime should have dried up years ago. We have been funding the lives of the inner cities for years. Where does the majority of crime exist?

We all know that democrat mayors and governors are masters at stagnating crime.

We could start by being honest with people. Calling it gun violence is just a lame attempt to blame guns for the activity of criminals. Don't try to minimize criminal activity by sugar coating it. When criminals are looting and buring down someones business, it is not "unrest", it is violent crime. When people are breaking laws we need more law enforcement, not less. Admit that defunding police is a terrible idea.

To find a solution look for patterns or commonalities. Almost all of the communities where criminal activity is out of hand have run by liberals for decades. If we are serious about changing those patterns it is time to elect folks that are serious about enforcing laws that are already in place.

we had one last week , guy was convicted felon and domestic abuser , except that there was a delayed prosecution on the felony if guy had finished the requirements he would have not had the conviction , well he didn't complete and he had 2 warrants out for him.

but he would have come up clean in NICs as the court hadn't properly reported the felony conviction.


if the gun grabbers want anything , they need to

1 convince the courts to do a full review of every case they have heard , start with yesterdays cases and work backwards and get the reporting right or their list is useless

2 every failed 4473 needs a court date , you get it straiten out or you were a felon and knew you shouldn't and need to realize the consequences. when the politifools say background checks kept 3 million felons from getting guns I hear 3 million times felons tested the fence and got caught , with no consequences , how many got through , a bunch
