....Yellow Squash?

They been putting a hurting on my apple trees, bet they would eat a squash.

Yep -- Neighbor has about 40 acres of squash (pumpkin pie kind) every year and we get to watch the deer go out and eat holes in them once they get to a certain stage. I feed my sheep pumpkins and squash of all kinds - not too much difference in their grazing habits.

Oh yeah they'll eat em. Then you eat the deer. Now that's the circle of life I'm into

This is the first time I’ve had it happen. The squash are making it to about finger size and wham, cleaned out.

Here, there isn't much they won't eat, even the stuff that is supposedly deer "resistant" gets eaten, sprinkle some deer repellant on whatever your trying to protect and the deer think its just a delightful condiment...

Theres only one solution... I hear Sept. deer are especially delicious....

What won’t a deer eat, lol? I’ve put cameras on every producing tree down here and if it’s fruit or vegetable, they’ll eat it. I find it comical watching them eating pears. Thought about planting some jalapeños out in a field just to see if one would try it!

Yes they will eat jalapeno. They stripped every leave off of my plants a few years ago.
