If the edges cut easily they should be ok. I use the tender parts even if the centers are woody/tough. If they get too old they will have bugs/larva soak them overnight in salt water if you are worried. If cooked well it won't hurt you but kinda gross.


Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

Agree. They look old but the yellow edges should be fine.

With all the moss, can you tell what kind of stump they are growing on? Hardwood ok. Conifer avoid
