Boise is supposed to be 100 or more for the next 10 days. Here in Idaho Falls, the weather person said it will be 106 next Tuesday. Dry heat or not, too hot for me.

Wife says it's been upper 90s an hour north of you. Been in ely nevada for the last two weeks and its been in the low 100s. I have been in hotter places but still don't like it. Hopefully it cools down some here soon.

I don’t know how people in places like Phoenix, Arizona can take this kind of heat year after year.

I'd rather it be 40, than 90.

We are having a cool summer after a long and cold winter. In fact there was fresh snow on the mountain tops twice in the last week. July snow is unusual to say the least....early June sure, late August yep....but July, that's pretty unusual.

It was hot here yesterday morning-+26c.
Then it rained for about half an hour and the temps dropped to +21c,much more seasonable.
Nice today +15c.

Hot, dry and smokey up here with fires all over. Lewiston had 11 days in row of triple digit temperatures in June, tied the all time record for days in a row over 100. Twelth day was 99 or they would have set a new record. No idea why anyone would live in that hole.
It's usually about 10 degrees cooler here than Lewiston, but we had a few days over 100 when Lewiston was in one hundred and teens.

Bearcat2 - you must be close to me. It’s been in the 90s now for I don’t know how long. Got above 100 for 3-4 days last week. Friday it is supposed to cool down to 82 or 84. Then back to 90s next week. I’m tired of summer!!!

Yup, about 25 miles east of you. And I'm tired of summer also.

These next two days of "cooler" weather is supposed to bring wind with it. Not what we need with the fires.
